Mumbai Press Club condemns killing of James Foley

Mumbai : Mumbai Press Club, deeply condole the death of American journalist James Foley, who lost his life at the hands of the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS).The Press Club, Mumbai join media organisations across the globe, in condemning the execution of Foley, who are reporting from war zones.The killing of Foley also highlights the larger issue of journalists, photo-journalists and video-journalists, who work in war zones, frontlines and conflict-torn areas of the world.Over the last two decades, we have lost several journalists, who had lost their lives in wars and terror-acts. We strongly stand behind the family of Foley, who was just 40, Mumbai Press Club said in a statement.
