Geetha profile: Geetha Shiva Rajkumar is a daughter of Ex CM Late Bangarappa, and wife of actor Shiva Rajkumar. She is mother of two daughters. Elder daughter Nirupama and younger daughter Niveditha. Her brother Madhu Bangarappa is education minister of Karnataka. She is married to Shiva Rajkumar in the year 1986. Elder daughter in law of legendary actor Dr. Rajkumar.
 
Political career: She is the only daughter of Late Bangarappa. Who represented Congress and BJP party. Even like his father and brother Geetha also represented JDS and Congress party. Earlier she contested for Legeslative assembly from JDS but lost in  election. This time she is contesting from Shimogga constituency as Congress candidate. Other than contesting for election she canvassed for her brother Madhu Bangarappa in last year legislative assembly election. Shimogga is native for Bangarappa and family. So Geetha is contesting from Shimogga constituency. Also she have a resident in Shimogga to be in contact with pubic. Now she is contesting against BJP’s BY Raghavendra.
