पंजाब किंग्स के कप्तान शिखर धवन ने राजीव गांधी स्टेडियम में सनराइजर्स हैदराबाद की ओर से बल्लेबाजी करते वक्त अकेले ही किला लड़ा दिया। वह सिर्फ 1 रन से शतक चूक गए लेकिन अपनी 99 रनों की पारी में उन्होंने 66 गेंदो में 12 चौके और 5 छक्के लगाए। उनके अलावा पूरी टीम महज 38 रन बना पाई क्योंकि 6 रन अतिरिक्त थे। उनकी कप्तानी पारी की ट्विटर पर खासी वाहवाही हुई।
